Trudy Proud (née Parker) is the mother of Penny, BeBe and CeCe, and Oscar's wife. She is a veterinarian who comes from a relatively wealthy family, her father being a doctor and her sister Diana Parker, a famous actress. Growing up, she was the baby of the family, just like her husband. Years ago, she married Oscar Proud after college, who she met through her friend/roommate Debra Williams (also known as "Thingy") because she felt that he was worth it. However, she doesn't appreciate Oscar acting like a fool around people. She also fears Oscar's cousins. Her best friend is Sunset Boulevardez who shares a lot in common with her; they don't like their husbands hanging with other women, they are both bossy housewives who share a close bond with their daughters, and they don't like it when their husbands act foolishly in public. Trudy often has her oldest daughter, Penny, watching the twins at times when Penny has made plans for herself. She is often more overprotective with her children as well.
She is voiced by Paula Jai Parker.

Trudy is a very nurturing, beautiful, intelligent, responsible and caring woman. She tends to be more forgiving than her husband Oscar, although she has shown go into a rage when Oscar or Penny don't listen to her (as seen in the film). Being a veterinarian, she is very caring of animals and very educated.
Appearance[]
Trudy is a very beautiful and slender yet curvy light-skinned, African-American woman with chin-length reddish-brown hair in a bob and hazel eyes. She wears red (sometimes dark pink) lipstick, a lime green blazer jacket with a long-sleeved yellow shirt underneath, tight khaki pants and green high heels.

- It was revealed that she has an uncle in Strike.
- Trudy tends to be a hypocrite and contradict herself a lot of times.
- She gets upset and punishes Oscar when he oogles other women; not even caring if he gets upset when she does the same for other men.
- When talking to Penny about the mildly revealing outfits LPDZ wore on Hip-Hop Helicopter, Trudy ignores Penny pointing out its an overreaction by the parents; being unable to see hee daughter is growing up.
