Michael Dwayne Vick (born June 26, 1980) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons. Regarded as having transformed the quarterback position with his rushing abilities, he was the first NFL quarterback to rush for over 1,000 yards in a season and holds the quarterback rushing yards record at 6,109.

Vick appeared in the episode, She Drives Me Crazy as Penny and her dad was watching football on TV at the start of the episode. At the time, he was quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons. He ran the ball in for a touchdown as he was well known for, stiff arming a player along the way.

Penny, who is a huge fan of his hopped up off the couch in sheer excitement as he danced in the end zone saying "Alright Mike, that's my man! Michael Vick is the bomb!"

Though he wore #7 in real life, he's seen wearing #2 which is coincidentally worn by his successor Matt Ryan who played for the team until 2021. He did however wear the #2 years later with the Pittsburgh Steelers in what ended up being his final season in the NFL.

In 2022, Vick came out of retirement to join the fan controlled league (USFL), following the footsteps of fellow retired NFL player Terrell Owens.

Also by coincidence, Michael Vick's NFL career began in 2001, the same year The Proud Family premiered on television.
