He is a ghost who haunts the Proud Family Home out of bitterness, due to the fact that he lost possession of the home 30 years prior to the events of the episode. With it being his most prized possession, he attempts to forcefully retrieve what he feels belongs to him.

Personality[]

Many adjectives are used to describe the ghost of Garrett Krebs; those including, grouchy, abrasive, relentless, roguish, evil, treacherous, thoughtless, kooky, realistic, callous, brilliant, sinister, gluttonous, austere, rowdy, responsible, earnest, testy, tenacious, knowledgeable, rough, egotistical, baleful and self-absorbed. It is unknown if he was this way during his life prior to losing his home, however he and Suga Mama once knew each other and apparently weren't friends.

History[]

He was one of the first to own the house where the Proud Family currently resides until the early 1970s, when his home was repossessed due to the fallout of a series of poor financial decisions. In 1966, Krebs took out a new mortgage while in retirement in order to upgrade his home with an extensive renovation inside and out which included changing the layout of the first floor entirely, installation of new walls, new wiring, a new furnace (replacing the of the original lead furnace which became a hazard), a brand new kitchen/dining room combined into one with a new layout, a multi-vehicle garage on the front of the home as well as a swimming pool in the back yard. While the renovations drastically improved the home and brought it up to date, Krebs coudn't afford to pay the loans and six years later on Halloween, he went into foreclosure. Krebs was so brokenhearted that he had lost his home, which he lived in for half a century he died of heart failure the same day. The house was later purchased by a man by the name of Alvin Peterson who resided at the home for nearly 20 years before selling it to Oscar Jackson Proud in 1992 for a whopping $500, paid for by his spouse Gertrude Alicia-Ann Parker in cash shortly after renovations resulting in a colossal financial loss of Peterson and what looked to be a steal for the family and a staunch negotiating victory for Oscar.

Thirty years after Krebs' death, Peterson, who sold the house to the Prouds a decade earlier, returns to warn Oscar Proud that Garrett's ghost is coming back to haunt them. However Oscar's heard-headed nature kicks in and he refuses take heed, but rather taunts Mr. Peterson, thinking he had gotten over on him. But later, Mr. Krebs arrived , disguised as a magician who Oscar had ordered to preform at a family Halloween party. Krebs initially decides to have himself some fun by using his mystical powers to perform supernatural tricks that amazes everyone in the home. However the true magician arrives, blowing Krebs' cover to which he then reveals his true identity in ghost form and begins terrorizing the home as Peterson had warned. He scares all the guests, including the magician out of the house but holds the Prouds and Papi captive inside. Suga Mama finally recognizes him as she knew him personally during his life on Earth and after a brief argument, Krebs uses his powers to uproot the home into the sky to prevent them from escaping. He then shared his story of how he owned the home and how bitter he was that it was taken from him. Meanwhile Penny happened to not be present fortunately because her mother convinced her to reluctantly attend Wizard Kelly's Hallowtween Frightacular where all her friends had gone to see the famous Lil' Romeo perform. on the way, Penny had gained supernatural powers herself, as a result of eating her father's radioactive Snax and began levitating before gaining large muscles. While attending the party she became a hero by stopping the Gross Sisters from jacking everyone's rick-or-Treat candy and had a bit of fun at the party undercover as a superhero by the name if Snack Girl (which coincidentally her father forced her to dress up as for Halloween as a marketing ploy for his snack business) before her super-hearing allowed her to hear her family crying for help from a distance. She flew back to her address to see her house had been lifted up in the air, where Garrett Krebs was proceeding to send them to their deaths as revenge as Oscar pleaded to spare them. But them Penny uses her powers to defeat the ghost and send him far far away while being able to land her house safely back onto its lot and saving her family without letting her identity be revealed.
