Carlos[1] is a character on the Disney Channel original series The Proud Family. He is voiced by Kel Mitchell.
History[]
He is a big fat guy who is an offensive lineman for Willy T. Ribbs Racer football team. At the Wild Wild World amusement park, he ended up on a date with Penny Proud. This LaCienega Boulevardez invited Penny and her friends to come to the amusement park with her to go and hang out with some boys. They spot Carlos and three of his other friends from a distance and LaCienega says, the first boy who talks to you is the one you're with! Just so happened, Carlos and LaCienega were classmates in the fifth grade and he recognized her from a distance. The other girls tried to sneak off with Carlos' friends, leaving LaCienega behind with Carlos. But since Penny was forced to bring BeBe and CeCe to the park; they served as an Achilles-hill and LaCienega exploited this by calling Penny back for them which allowed LaCienega to escape Carlos and steal away Penny's date therefore leaving her stuck with Carlos instead. She even lies and says to Carlos that Proud liked big guys. Penny initially felt unlucky with him but when her naughty baby brother and sister snuck onto a roller coaster ride, Carlos was brave enough to save them and for that, Penny started to see past his appearance and appreciate him more for his character.
